Customer Service Representative - Ecolab

Job Overview:
In this full time position, you provide a professional and efficient level of customer service, pro-active and re-active, to external and internal customers. Your duties include processing orders, providing product information and addressing queries within the guidelines of the company’s procedures and the ISO9001 quality standard.

Main Responsibilities:
- Be logged in to the Customer Service phone system
- Follow phone call procedures
- Accept and process all customer orders and order confirmations in a professional and efficient manner. Orders may be received by phone, fax, email or from sales personnel.
- Process customer EFT/Credit Card payments as required.
- Promptly communicate messages received from customers to sales and field personnel as required.
- Record customer complaints and feedback within the guidelines of company policy.
- Co-ordinate goods to be returned as authorised by sales management.
- Liaise with Order Management regarding pricing queries and customer master file issues.
- Liaise with Order Management with regarding customer account issues e.g. credit hold.
- Build and maintain professional and friendly relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in all relevant training sessions and meetings conducted within the Customer Service Department.
- Provide reception relief duties.
- Liaise with Supply Chain/Operations personnel regarding delivery and stock availability queries.
- Provide back order status information to sales personnel and customers.
- Perform general office administrative duties, inclusive of filing of confirmation orders and PODs; providing copies of invoices, MSDSs and technical appraisals to customers; scanning POD records; and any other ad hoc tasks that may be required within the Department.
- Perform any outbound call for customer surveys or other customer contact as required.
